well, even JP made out in this virtual baby shower and got himself some cool jeans. i think he's happy.

i received two flavors of this product in tracy's goody box and just wanted to throw a shout out to the americans sending boxes this way, that they make for good packing peanuts ;)

(one belly bar has been consumed during the uploading of this blog - damn they're good & healthy!)

received a very large box from my best friend in minnesota (ex-OC gal though, lets not forget), tracy.

what can i say about tracy? she's the best friend a girl can have. through the miles she manages to research the most interesting things in a matter of seconds, even while on the phone! this girl has talents, and can belly dance too! va-va-voom! and her hip shaking came into much use while delivering her first bundle of joy, roland. and i'm happy to report that she's now on sassy baby #2 and im sooo happy for her and her man, eric. good things to good people:)

well, as im at a very large stage in my life...and the seasons are slowly transitioning here from winter to spring..i'm understanding that i can no longer wear my large winter coats (as much as i'd like to) and finding a lighter coat is becoming a task. so, i did find this 'bargain' that would seem to hold me over till swindubaby arrives. just a little coverage, well lets be honest, a lot of coverage for this mamini!

old navy, bargain online, so im not sure if its available for the $17.99 steal at the actual stores. XL to be safe.

: pregnant thoughts :

so, i was sitting here, taking it easy (something im forcing myself to do)
and was thinking that this swindubaby to be is a very lucky baby to have all of mama's friends all over the world!

im now at 29 weeks and feeling good and big.

i know that when swindubaby comes it will be very small...but grow just as fast. so we are looking for clothing that i guess can last till he/she is 6 months old.

we are planning to visit our family in india when swindubaby is 6 months old and you
better believe we will be replenishing swindubaby's wardrobe with larger clothes
to fit, from india at less than half the cost. besides, if you've noticed most baby cotton clothes are all 'made in india'...guess with their population they know a thing or two about babies ;)

just browsing target, as they rock. just some images of things that caught my eye. the boppy cover, is sooo my style. now if we could only get a target, trader joe's and starbucks here, i'd be pretty happy. :)

hilda hayes : march 10

a special day (our 3rd anniversary-california style)

and today we received a special package from my beloved hayes family : pat & hilda.
they are my 2nd parents as i've known them since i was 5 yrs. old and hilda was one of my girl scout troop leaders and knows all the shenanigans we girls got into. the sweetest people i know and am glad to call family.

hilda has knit me a most beautiful blanket and cap for baby and i teared up as i saw it : such a heartfelt gift, i thank you. and 2 very cute onesies & soft gowns, that will be very useful.

when we were kids

wonder what baby will look like? i don't think that i look the same as my photo, but i can see JPs smile being just the same from then till now. :) in the above pic, its JP on the right with his 2 brothers. he was always the tall one and i always had the curls.

amazon.com is where i was able to create an online registry of some things we'd like. all you need to do is go to amazon and on the bottom left there is an area called gifts, baby registry, click on that, enter my name: yamini someshwar and it should appear.

some items are not available for international shipping, so you can ship it to your address and then mail it yourself. or this might give you some ideas of what we're looking for and your can purchase anywhere.

humble beginings

we ( JP & I) are finding this baby thing so daunting at times and don't know where to begin. things in sweden aren't cheap by any means and i guess clothes are the most important things at the moment. the strollers we've looked at here start at $1000 : gulp
